A Well Full of Wishes

A Well Full of Wishes
TH
8-18-97

A well full of wishes,
Pockets full of hopes.
The bond grows strong,
Like horsehair ropes

Her heart full of feathers
Her feelings of shale…
Shadows of a hurt,
Reflection of a gone male.

Stomach of butterflies,
Knees full of lead;
Thoughts running wildly,
Cheeks turning red.

The sun of a new day,
Brightness bestows.
This must be the one;
Heaven must know.

A pock full of wishes
A well full of hopes
Weaving a tapestry
With the strongest of ropes.
