Anything worth having has a price, a cost, something you have to give in exchange... A sacrifice. So many people are afraid to love for fear they will get hurt. Know this as a fact: the price for love IS pain. Your dog will die, run away, or get taken... But you love. Your kids will move away... Or worse. Your lover will eventually pass, or move on...something. Regardless... It is undeniable that the price to love is that you WILL hurt one day. Once you accept this, you can love without concern for the consequence. You will give freely for the wonderful experience it is, in spite of the momentary pain and take from it the memories and warmth. Embrace and accept the inevitable... And love without consequence... You will be more happy than hurt in the end.
Just an old Junkyard Dog. I have seen much, laughed plenty, and cried for my own and loved one's pain and joys. I have lots to say and have thought about a place to put it for years. I am sometimes witty, usually sarcastic, and nearly always positive. Please feel free to comment on anything! Criticism, how you felt, typos... I can take it. Also, if you share something, please link it back to me! Share freely. bvlld0g.blogspot.com
